Bangladeshi Raees Uddin died after being robbed by a neighbour in East London

A Bangladeshi expatriate named Rais Uddin (48) was killed by a white neighbor in London.
Raees Uddin died on Monday evening, October 7, under treatment at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in London.
Raees Uddin lived with his family in the Customs House area of Newham Council in East London. His home in Bangladesh is Faridpur district.
The witness and his friend Raj Hasan told the media that the incident took place on October 5, 2024, Saturday afternoon, local time.
On that day, a neighbor of Chetang got into an argument with Raees Uddin about keeping the door of the building open.
At one stage Shetang stabbed the neighbor Rais Uddin. He was later taken to the hospital.
Raj Hasan also said, “Rais Uddin called me and told me about the incident and asked me to come down the building.”
When Rais Uddin’s son and I came under the building, the white neighbor attacked Rais Uddin with a knife and abused him in racist language.
The attacker first stabbed Raees Uddin in the face. When Raees Uddin fell on the ground, he was seriously injured by cuts on various parts of his body including the chest.
Later, other neighbors informed the police and the police came and arrested the attacker.
Newham Council Chair Rahima Rahman told the media that they have come to know about the murder.
