Pilot killed as training aircraft catches fire in Bangladesh
Bangla sanglap desk: A female pilot was burned to death and another suffered burn injuries when a training aircraft caught fire at Shah Makhdum Airport in Bangladesh here on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Tamanna Rumi, an engineer of Bangladesh Flying Academy, said the engine of the training aircraft caught fire at the airport while taking off around 2 pm, leaving Tamanna dead on the spot and instructor Syed Kamal injured with burns. Syed was whisked off to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
