Alliance Group of Shaharpara badminton tournament held in London
Muhammed Shahed Rahman : Sports are beneficial for both the body and the mind. Sports have a positive impact on various areas such as physical fitness, mental peace, increased social skills, and self-confidence. Such tournaments play a unique role in preventing the degradation of youth society. There is no alternative to such sports to save the youth from the scourge of drugs.
The speakers made these remarks at an award ceremony after a badminton competition organized by the Alliance Group of Shaharpara, a youth organization of the people of Greater Shaharpara in Jagannathpur Upazila living in the United Kingdom.
Competitors from various cities in the UK participated in the badminton tournament held at the Sports Dock Centre in London on Tuesday (August 19, 2025).
20 teams in the advanced category and 10 in the beginner category participated in the game.
The first prize winner in the advanced category is Shafi Kamali-Shayek Kamali.
The second prize winner is Abir Kamali-Suhan Mia. The third prize winner is Khaled Kamali-Rayhan Kamali. The fourth prize winner is Sohag Kamali-Mukit Miah.
The first prize winner in the beginner category is Chunu Kamali-Javed Kamali.
The second prize winner is Ashwadur Kamali-Safu Kamali. The third prize winner is Nunu Kamali-Kawsar Kamali. The fourth prize winner is Hakim Kamali-Shayesh Kamali.
Present at the award ceremony, conducted by Alliance Group member Suman Khan, were former UP Chairman Taib Mia Kamali, community activist Dabir Mia Kamali, Zilu Mia, Matiur Rahman Kamali, Shafi Mia Kamali, Abir Kamali, Burhan Kamali, Jahangir Kamali, Ashraf Mia, Jahangir Mia, Sadiq Kamali, Nanu Kamali, Rajan Kamali, Safu Kamali, Abdul Haque Kamali, Monayem Mia, Hakim Kamali, Mohibur Kamali, Harik Kamali, Awlad Kamali, Rafu Kamali, Khasru Kamali, Masud Kamali and Kabir Ahmed Minu.
Everyone present praised the organizers for their excellent organization and called for the event to be held every year.
